Metro First Call stands at the ready to serve your transport needs. With a fleet of ten vehicles, licensed morticians, trained transport assistants, and top-of-the-line equipment, we are able to handle all types of first calls. Refrigeration

Metro First Call is equipped to handle your short- or long-term refrigeration needs. Our large walk-in cooler is equipped with Mopec® stainless steel trays and racking. We offer a complimentary week of storage in our cooler for each embalming or cremation that we perform. For specifics on pricing, duration, or capacity, feel free to contact us.

Cremation

Metro First Call is proud to be equipped with two retorts, one of which is able to handle the most extreme cases, up to 1200 lbs. Concerned with security? We are too. That's why only our staff have access to our cooler, prep, alkaline hydrolysis, and cremation facility areas. Preparation

Alkaline Hydrolysis

Metro First Call now offers your families a choice when choosing cremation: flame or flameless. Families selecting Alkaline Hydrolysis are grateful to have a choice, prefer a process that does not use flame, prefer receiving approximately 20% more cremains returned, believe it to be a more gentle option than flame-based cremation, and value the decreased environmental impact of the process…no emissions, less energy, and a smaller carbon footprint.
